My readme
When I work alone
I tell the truth.
Even if it hurts.
I love order and regularity.
It helps me get everything organized and put into process. I don't mind surprises, just not too many.
I know the answers to many questions.
Because I have a lot of interests without any particular focus.
I work hard.
Have done it since I was little. I also seem to have problems with people who don't work as hard.
When I work in a team
I tend to question common beliefs regularly.
Even when I disagree with others, I can admit that they have valid points.
It is essential to me to understand the logic behind arguments. It helps me understand the other persons belief system or train of thought.
I don't always like to change direction in the middle of a project.
Especially if the directional change is not based on valid observations or data.
I don't brag about my accomplishments.
It's a team effort. Always.
I am always prepared.
I don't like unnecessary surprises and my job requires reliable answers.
My beliefs
I don't understand people who get emotional.
I know them and I like them but I am wired differently.
I prefer things to be useful rather than beautiful.
Completely agree.
I'd rather make mistakes and learn than not make mistakes.
I avoid crowds.
If there is no real reason to do otherwise, I don't mind keeping to myself.
Logistics
My most productive time is at night.
And I might be grumpy in the mornings as a result. But bear with me.
For day to day communication I prefer asynchronous channels (Email, Messenger, Text).
I don't like being interrupted, so asynchronous channels are my thing. I will get back to you eventually. I see it all.
For new project discussions I prefer written briefs.
Because this way the person preparing the project needs to think first.
